Sunshine Ridge (also known as the RUSH) has played in the Church Slo-pitch League since 2002. The season starts the first weekend of April and wraps up with playoffs near the end of June. Typically, the team plays a doubleheader each Saturday, alternating weekends between Surrey and Abbotsford. Sunshine Ridge has played in every division of the league at some point in time. The team has enjoyed success in recent years by winning the season and playoff titles in C division in 2010 and the playoff title in B division in 2011. Starting in 2012, Sunshine Ridge has been playing in the top division and has qualified for the A division playoffs the last three seasons, achieving 1st place in 2017!
